I've seen quite a few posts reference Quad insurance for $150-300/year. I called my normal insurance guy and he didn't have anything for OHV's.

I called McGraw (Since they do my PWC's) and they wanted like $375/year for Comp. (Theft/etc) and $550/year for Comp+Collision.

Also, the McGraw insurance wouldn't cover if I let someone under 25 ride it unless I had them named on the policy prior (and for a fee!!)!!

Who do you use, what's your coverage, and how much did it cost?

I use Progressive. Liability is about $70 year on the Basnhee with full coverage on a Warrior (older) costing about $70 as well. I think full coverage on the Banshee was quoted at about $130 when it was brand new. This is in Wyomingm the state whewre I saved almost $3000 on total insurance costs when I moved here from CT with the same company providing the insurance.

I also use Progressive. I am in a high cost county but I have minimum state liability, $100 ded. on comprehensive and $250 on collision for about $250 a year but I am over 25. That is about 1/4 of what my auto company wanted.(USAA) and about 1/2 of State Farm's quote.

I use Progressive at about $170 per year for my 2000 Kodiak. Covers just about everything even if you do something stupid like getting stuck really bad or running into a tree. They will come and get you out!

OK, If I were to get insurance on everything (theft, fire, colision, ??injury??) what would be a good price i should be shopping for? Also, lets say i do total my bike, I have about $8500 into it, would they just give me enough to buy a new one, or how does that work? Also, whats a good deductible? Thanks

Oh and finally, Im only 15 and im getting my liscense this summer, if i do wreck my quad or something like that, will my car insurance go up also?
