The Lonestar Raptor axle is about 3 1/2 inches wider than stock according to Lonestar. If you buy the Banshee axle it is at least 4 inches wider but when mounted on a Raptor there is not enough room for both axle nuts and one side is longer than the other. There are other posts that do a better job of explaining the problems with the Banshee axle.

I may be interested in your Lonestar a-arms and the shocks. What do you want for them? If you think you may part with those send me an email so we can talk. Also thanks for the info on dropping the weight.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to reply. There are some very good suggestions. If I come up with anything "revolutionary" I will be sure to share it with everyone. My first goal is going to be the "Low hanging fruit" like the lights, handlebars, etc. Then I am primarily going to focus on unsprung weight. Does anybody here have the carbon fiber rims? How do they hold up to trail riding? Thanks again!
