Raptor Mods Report
#11
Geez guys how fast do you really want to go?
Yesterday, I hit 132kph (Have Garmin Etrex on handlebars, and geared up on stock) on a flat limestone track on my DS650. This is the first time I have had the opportunity to go over 100kph (60mph), on trails or tracks it really doens't matter if you can only go this quick.
I'm more interested in how quickly I can get there, particularly for jumps.
An alternative for exhaust systems for Warriors and Raptors is Custom X, they are made here in Western Australia (but shipped round the world), they are made wholly out of stainless steel, and are certified to not exceed 93Db when installed correctly without modifications to the pipe. They provide massive bottom and mid-range gains, and moderate gains on the top-end.
I have pictures of the pipe installed on my DS650 on my website. There is also a fairly lengthy discussion on this subject on the Bombardier forum.
