Here's the problem I'm trying to sort out and maybe you guys can point me in the right direction. My girlfriend and my sister both ride Banshees and they are exactly the same except for the pipes. My gf's are Toomey T5's and my sister has FMF's. This is the only difference between the two bikes.

Now here's the problem. We fill all of our bikes up to the brim and take off. For the last three outings my sister's bike will completely run out of gas befores my gf's bike will hit reserve. About 95% of the time it is follow the leader on trails and dunes and nothing seems out of the ordinary. Their riding style is very similar with my gf being a bit more aggressive. So, I'm totally confused as to where to look. Aside my sister getting a bigger tank I'm kind of stumped here.

I'm Jealous too!!!!!!!! But getting back to the post The only thing it could be if there riding styles are the same is the the jetting must be richer in one. Let them swap bikes the next time out and see what happens. I know reserve on my Shee use to last for another hour of riding so your talking about a big defference.

Have you checked for gas leaks?, maybe a bowl that's sticking now and then... if your bowl over fills the gas will run out the back of the carb and down and out near the swing arm.

And I'm jealous.. a GF and Sister on Banshee... does your sister need a date? <grins>

Like ChrisMac said, let them swap bikes, and see what happens...then you'll know if the bike drinks more. If that's the case...check gas leaks, jetting air filter status, plugs, engine wear, oil brand/mix ratio...this should be it.

PS...I'm jealous too
