Hey everyone,
I was thinking about buying some paddle tires for a banshee and i was wondering about the different sizes.A stock banshee has 20x10-9 rear tires and the sizes available for the sand skates paddles is 20x11x8 and 20x11x10.So could someone explain the differences in these two different sizes?I don't want this to sound stupid, but i'm pretty new to this sport.I would appreciate any information you guys could offer. Thanks

In case you were planning on putting those tires on the stock rimes neither will fit. You have a 9" stock rim and those are 8" & 10" tires. the measurements for 20" x 11" 8" refer to 20" diameter, 11" width and 8" rim size.
Here's my suggestion. Get some haulers at 22" x 11" x 10" with new rims. Then get a 13 tooth front sprocket to help make up for the larger diameter tire. The Haulers are the best hooking tire there is. The Skates are V paddles I believe and will turn and slide better mut don't hook up as hard for hilclimbs and such. If you get aftermasket rims they will probably have a larger offset from stock (check to be sure) meaning they will be wider and that still allows plenty of room for the 22" tires.
My paddles are 20" x 11" x 8" 10 paddle Haulers on Douglas .190" rims by the way. They do fine but if I had asked what to get here first I'm sure people would have led me to the 22" haulers.
Oh, one other thing. If you're Banshee is stock you're going to probably have a tough time pulling 22" paddles even with the 13 tooth front sprocket. You may want to consider the 20" paddles and the 13 tooth if it's stock. Also, 8 paddles are probably better if your'e stock and definately get 10 paddles if you're modified.
