I bought a pair of Oakley goggles a little while back and they have a spot for tear offs. Thinking it would be really nice this coming weekend to have them, I bought some tear offs, not knowing that the things weren't ready just to slap on and go. What is the proper way to put these things on? It seems like there should only be one tab grabable at a time, so how do I do it? ANY OTHER INFO would be great too.
Thanks allot, and don't laugh too hard at me!!!

For most tear-offs you put one on and then fold the tab(where you grab on to to pull it off) over on the post and then put on the next one. So when you pull one off the tab for the next one pops out and is ready ot be pulled. I don't remember on my googles but one my race car helmet I always put the first one on backwards so that I know when I am on my last one. I can still pull it off I just have to grab the other side. Hope this helps!

Okay... thanks for the info... one more question though. My tear offs don't seem to be staying up against my goggles very well so I would think that this would allow dirt/mud to get between them, plus it makes everything seem dull instead of nice and clear like w/o using the tear offs. Anything I can do about this? Are there tear offs that come "pre-assembled" so all you have to do is stick the bunch on and go?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

They should stay up against your googles or they will get water and mud behind them and be worthless. They will cut down on vision some and the more you have on the worse it will be. I think you can get them in packs of like ten already stuck together but I have never used them. I know you can get them for helmets that way and they look like a good way to go except they are higher.

I was at a ATV Club Rally in New York this last weekend and I noticed a few people that has these SCOTT goggles that had a neat little setup. Well they are a little hard to explain so here is the link: Scott Vision System
Maybe it will work with your Oakley goggles. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info... I will have to go talk to the shop where I got my tear offs and see what they say. Something must be wrong cause no matter what I try, I can't get the things to stay against my goggles.
I checked out that link you gave me NINman and it looks like that is a whole set up that you have to buy, but at least now I know they make them for goggles (I knew they made them for full face helmets and NASCAR cameras.) :-)
I am going to look around and see if Oakley make a set up like that.

I too have tear ffs and Oakley goggles. True that there is a little space between the goggle and the tear off, but it works very well the same. Even with dust. Ride for 10 minutes in a dusty mx race, and pull the tear off...you'll se that it works great. The sun shines again.

Soemthing you may want to try is to cut a tear-off grab thingy off so it fits the goggle. This will protect your lens from dirt and scratches. This may help keep the other tear-offs against your lens. I have the Oakley goggles and there is no space between the off and the lens.
