Hello guys,,,i have a raptor, and i am so worried about the 2nd gear probem, i can't sleep a night!!! is this something that is a big deal??

 

yeah, the people talking about that are starting to worry me too, did yamaha ever change anything from the first ones to the latest ones? i just got mine so if they did i should be ok,but if the dont admit to a problem then that isnt good, maybe i should get the extended warranty, that isnt voided because of an aftermarket exhaust is it?

 

If you just got your Raptor your all set, the part has been redesigned but still has the same part number !! My lolcal dealer didnt know anything about it after replacing mine when i asked about it, and i had to call around to find another dealer that had just sent a TEC. to school on the Raptor! They also are richer from the factory on the idle circuits so you don't need to worry about the boots poping off either, another one my dealer didnt know about till I called and then they called Yamaha! They did do new boots and reset the idle circuit settings for me under warranty.
