I was just at the dunes this weekend and noticed a couple of missed 1-2 shifts, sounds like my raptor tranny could be starting to self destruct. I am 2 mos. out of warranty.I purchased it in Canada so I don't expect any help from local dealers (other than they said there have seen a few already, Mostly duners with paddle tires on early raptors). Exactly what parts are the weak ones ???? Maybe my dealer will help with parts(doubtful).Does yamaha have any retrofit or stronger parts available, if so what are the part #'s?????

Im a early raptor duner, and I sent second to the land of OZ, they tell me that second gear is now updated. But it is easier to tell you what they did not replace, they did not replace....the outer cases, the head, and thats it. Parts retailed for aprox. 4000.00 but this time was warranty. If its popping out of second, get ready to go over the bars.
