Spent some time on the new kodiak this weekend and realy liked it. The drive train is silky smooth. We raced it against my Sportsman and it was a little quicker, but they had the same top speed. Its light weight makes it go through a lot that you would not expect a 400 with those tires to get through. The only thing bad i can see is the price. Its hard to see paying only 300 more to get the Griz. My dad had the older style Kodiak and that machine was realy slow and rough rideing. Yamaha got it right the second time around though.
