I read that the raptor doesnt slide well due to narrow axel and the stock tires grab to much, how well would it slide if you were to custom groove the side *****? has anyone tried this, if so how did u customize them ?

Hey man....I hated the way the raptor slid when I bought it stock so I grooved the tires. I borrowed a tire groover from a friend a went to work on them. I cut off the itty bitty side *****.....all of them......I also angled the sides of the side ***** down. I then flipped the rear suspension linkage. I can now corner almost like a full-on racer. My other friend has a new raptor too and his is also stock...like mine...and I rode his and hated it. He has everything stock.....no grooved tires or flipped linkage. I can outcorner him 6-ways from last sunday!

Hey thanks Austin, you cut off all *****, can you keep it hooking up in corners if you need or does it slide to much. i was thinking bout only cutting half the side ***** off.

You might as well start by cutting half. You can always cut more off if you don't like it!

Why dont you try putting more air pressure in your tires. I put 6 psi in mine before i got new tires and i was able to powerslide and do donuts without a problem.
