Well as with everyone else the tranny fairy has came along and taken my second gear with her(or so i think). Actually its just locked in reverse. But its not my fault. I was letting my buddy ride it over the weekend and he was using reverse. I knew if i left reverse alone that i would have no probs. Well i was right. over 9 months trouble free til some idiot had to use reverse.argh! Oh well i didnt feel like racing this weekend anyway. I think yamaha is going to hear from me. not that it will do any good but i will try. Dont yah just hate it when your quad brakes? Kinda feels like one of my kids is in the hospital. Well not quite but i am sure you all know what i am talking about.

I bought a fairly nice polaris last summer, went to a friends house, he asked if he could ride it, I said yes, he came back on foot, cooked the top-end. Good thing was it was under dealer warantee.. It still s#cked though..

dont blame it on the rider for using reverse, blame it all on yamaha for making such junk.
i ride yamaha, only because they are the only current producer of a 2stroke atv, the banshee. (and blaster)
i would ride red any day over blue, but its my only choice to ride blue, because i looked at so many old LT250's and they were all falling apart because of their age. so my choice was to get a newer banshee, for the same price as the old 2strokes, just because i wanted something in good conditon, and yamaha was the only one producing it.
i really like the banshee, but if honda made the same quad, id trade it over yamaha. personaly i think their craftmanship is weak and materials used.

oh yeah forgot polaris, no offence against them.
i wanted something with a clutch, gears, and a 2stroke motor, in a sport frame, and in good condition. yamaha is the only choice there. which i hated to do but had to. dont get me wrong i love my banshee even when it breaks down.
