Went to the yamaha dealer with my buddy to pick up his raptor. We were told by the service manager to shift WITHOUT using the clutch(of course use for first). Just curious if the 2nd gears are pattern related to using the clutch. The owners manual stipulates to use the clutch.

Thanks,

Rainman

No, no, no.. Use the clutch, you can ride without it but I've heard about the tranny being touchy so why push it? Expesically when you put it in first, when shifting from first to second shift hard and try to feel the click with your foot (havent ridden a raptor, but the banshee and blaster were like this and I hear the warrior is the same?)
