Just took a look at HMF's dyno charts. Is it just me or is a 3 to 4 H.P. increase on top end "not that much" for a full exaust system keeping the airbox??? Or 7 to 8 without the airbox?? How come I have been seeing an 11 to 17 H.P. increase with others?

GrizzlyRules,
I bought them direct from them. Their website is www.sparksracing.com, I paid $470.50 with shipping.

Hyper660R...how does that DMC sound? I really had my mind set on the BigGun system because of the power, sound and looks. Where does the DMC make most of it's power? Compared to the others?
I still don't get why there is such a big difference between the HP gains of all these different pipes??

Hi Xplor,
If you haven't seen it already, try to find the June issue of ATV Sport magazine. They dyno tested 17 different pipes and exhaust systems for the 400EX. The results are very interesting and disappointing. There are a lot of systems that just don't do anything except to make more noise, and the HP gains of even the best systems were not all that great. Ritter's bolt-on silencer, for example, was one that produced "an ear-deafening high-pitch growl" on the dyno, but it's power curve was the same as stock or even a little lower until peak HP where it produced only 1 HP more than stock. What a bargin!!
They rejetted for each system if necessary but they left the air box stock, so that certainly hurt the HP numbers. The question is, however, would the rankings have changed if they used a modified air box or would they have stayed the same?
I'm waiting for ATV Sport or Dirt Wheels to do the same test for the Raptor before I buy a system. I would not trust the manufacturers' claims. Just remember the Ritter silencer is the same price as something else that might actually work, it's just real difficult to tell without an independent test.
Good luck,

Xplor on the DMC pipe over the stock one.I noticed a increase in low,mid
and mostly top end power. The sound is loud and deep rumble. The workmenship
and quality are out standing. Also it dosen't stick out very far.I would run the Graydon in the sand.
