85 MPH is easily possible when modified but I don't know if it could pull that speed stock. I hit 82 MPH on mine with pipes and stock gearing and it would definately pull higher than stock gearing.

It's hard to say how fast a Banshee or any other machine will go with higher gearing because it takes more HP per MPH the faster ou go. For example because a 35 HP Banshee will go 75 MPH doesn't mean a 70 HP Banshee will go 150 MPH....

i can't believe a banshee goes 80 stock. i mean a quadzilla goes 79mph stock. i know a banshee isn't faster than a zilla (stock for stock)

You think magazine's lie or you hope they are lying? I don't think they will do 80mph. I hear it is 72 mph. I know this kid that said his Honda FourTrax 300 4x4 was a 120 hp. I laughed so hard I was crying.

first off did you ever ride a Banshee? if you did, you would think differently! ok magazines say banshees go about 70mph right, and say 300EXs go about 55mph, thats only 15mph, i raced a 300Ex and i killed it in 4th gear, and could keep right up with it in 3rd! And a banshee is a 350cc TWO STROKE TWIN CILENDER, while the 300EX is a 300cc FOUR STROKE that produces about 15hp, while the banshee is like 40hp, and i would think that a Banshee could go faster than just 15mph than a 300EX!

We Verified my friends Banshee at 73mph on blacktop with a GPS. It has a K&N filter, but that's it. Yes, I have ridden several Banshee's and don't believe they will go 80mph. Find a really steep hill get it wound out and pull in the clutch and maybe it will.
