Hi,
My little brother is getting a brand new atv. His is debating whethere he should get a 300ex or a warrior. Personally i think he should get the warrior, but i was wondering if you guys could help me out and give me some of the advantages and disadvantages of getting a 300 or warrior. Also what you think he should get.
Thanks For all the help

Well the Warrior is faster, but that is really all that I know. After this weekend I'll have the chance to ride with a guy on a 300ex, so I can let you know after that if nobody else answers your questions. Later.

I own a warrior, and i have ridden 2001 300ex's ALOT.....Sadly, the 300ex is the far better machine vs the warrior, handling, wheeling ect, mx. The warrior is better for Hillclimbs, but thats about it. the 300ex has great handling, good power, and suspension. I like yamaha's but, go with the 300ex.

Man don't listen to these people go with the Warrior. I have owned a Warrior for about two years now and I really enjoy my Warrior. This thing has been through a lot and it still runs like a top. With a change in the exhaust, tires, air filter and jets. The Warrior turns into a new machine. With man I can pull a power wheelie in second gear. And when I drag race with my bros Mojave and my neighbors 400EX. I can beat the Mojave and dont really lose by that much against the 400EX. Go with the Warrior because even a Mojave can outrun the 300EX.

The Warrior is much faster than the 300EX, we clocked my friends cousin down the road on his and he hit 65mph, the 300EX only hits like 58mph. The Warrior is a much better hill climber. the 300EX is smoother around a track than a Warrior, but the Warrior will kill it on the Straight stretch! I would diffently go with the Warrior! Yamahas are just plain faster than Hondas!

The warrior may be a tad faster in the stretches, but top speed isn't everything. The 300ex can outjump, outhandle, and definetly handle the whoops better on the motocross track better. Theres nothing wrong with the ex.
