<< velocityraptor... you are a hypocrit...

14mins, well, if there is something better out there, that is cool. But, I still have yet to see another manufacturer post dyno readings with results comparable to the CT Sonic. Oh yeah, and my pipe isn't ugly, it is just "big boned"... lol...

Alaska- TCS, stock arms. They are really nice........but cost too much in my opinion. 850.00

Big boned- i like that one. Since i like to keep things stirred up, almost all the pipes out there will make the same power. If Dirt wheels would have done the shoot-out the same, jetting, air box most would be within 1 to 2 hp from one make to another. Pick the one you like! If you look at all the 686 kits on this forum, everyone has a different exhaust. Why? They are all pretty close, comes down to personal preference.

sorry guys just joined the forum i just wanted to voice an opinion i have. first if you look at the issue that CT won the exhaust shoot out it was on CT's dyno second they cut a whole in the air box added a pro design pro-flow filter kit. no one else did this they only changed the jets and left the stock filter, snorkel configuration. I might be wrong in saying that but it looked and smelled kinda fishy. I have a sparks x-6 on my raptor and I run against the CT pretty regularly. I wasnt impressed at all and out-run them by at least 2-3 bike lengths. Again you could count some of that to the rider. sometimes I think that a full exhaust system is a waste unless you have other engine work done.

supposedly, according to CT Racing, their Sonic pipe makes more HP with the Supertrapp spark arrestor in than with just the open stinger. That is with 15 discs, I think. So more HP and Forest Service approved... but there is still that tiny issue of being loud. That problem goes away after just a few minutes of riding (it is replaced with a nice ringing in the ears).
