yea i would love to get a port job too, but i definitely want to wait until the winter, or whenever its too wet or cold to ride, since it'll be down a while.
but, the raptor does have a lot of power already, with pipe and stuff, (but u always want more no matter what) although the suspension needs the most attention, being too narrow and tall.
if i was rich and all like some i would definitely get axis shocks, but like u said they are expensive, like $1250 just for two fronts.
but i like the TCS triple rate fronts, and i'll prolly get they're rear conversion also. total will be about $1250. and that front and rear, not just front.
my friends over here have gotten +3 a-arms with stock shocks, which help a lot, but they bottom out easily and it wants to dip forward when going into a turn badly, because of the extra leverage, so i will prolly get a-arms and shocks all at once for it to be right.
Golden West Cycle has some nice a-arms that are made by lonestar, which are the recreational arms, and u can get em chrome for about $625
iam prolly gonna get those in +3/+1

sorry but I have my stock piston.

Bash,

I have raced MANY banshees which were VERY modded and can beat them all other than top speed (but I was running a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket at that time) I have raced and rode with a guy who has a DS 650 and he hasn't a chance in hell. the ds has no throttle response even compared to a stock raptor. I have had a 440ex and rode a friends yesterday with many mods other than the 440 and he would be the biggest joke of them all. I am not downing 440ex's or ds's though. I think a 440ex would whoop me on a mx track, and a ds does have a soft seat. And I used to race banshee's for years and have owned a ton of them so I can never say anything bad about a banshee. anyone want my raptor? I am thinking of doing a roll design 250r with a 350 powervalve motor!raptor $10k

<< yea its 5 mm over, my bike sucked some sand in through that prodesign proflow thing so now i have to rebore it >>

Don't get confused on sizes. .010" of an inch equals a quarter of a milimeter (.25mm)

"first over" is typically .010" (or .25mm), second over is .020" or .50mm).

A piston that is 5mm oversize is 2 inches larger than your stock piston. A piston that is .50mm oversize is only 2 hundreths of an inch larger than your stock piston. Big difference!
