hey man i have a yamaha blaster (stock) and also have owned a 300ex and the blaster could beat it in a drag race and probobly in the woods also, so it could most likely beat a 250ex, i tied with a polaris scrambler 500 but that was on a muddy dirt road. it will defeat most any 4by4 they make is my guess because of the weight advantage and being a 2stroke.well ttyl cya

I am not possitively sure about a stock Blaster as I have never riden a totaly stock Blaster. But I can roast a recon,250x,300ex,any Polaris except the scram 400 and any other 2 stroke ( I have only raced the scram 500 and murdered it)and danm near any other 4x4 model except the new kawi and yami they seem to be kinda fast and powerful.Put some boyesen reeds and a trinity pipe on there and you will be able to keep right up with lightly modded 400ex'es. Happy Riding!!

A blaster will beat anything if you throw it in the back of a truck.
Seriously, though, it all depends on the riders. I've beaten a 400ex on my mildly modded blaster. Does that mean a blaster is faster than a 400? No. I've also been beaten by an RM125.

The first 6000 Raptors....

Just kidding, I know some of them could beat a blaster on the days they aren't in the shop.

It all reallydepends on the rider. I've beaten all the 4x4s I've raced(around 20 of them) and all the utility quads I've raced(around 20 again). I've also beaten 400EX, 300Ex, 250EX, Warrior, Bansheee by like a foot, and I whipped a Begginner on a Raptor. So it all depends on the rider. By the way I have a 1995 Stock Blaster.

Yeh sure, and my 92 quadracer 250 can beat F-16, I used to have a quadsport 230, and a buddy of mine had a Blaster with a Pro Circuit pipe and he could only beat me by 2 quad lenghts, I have seen a 300EX with a slip-on beat his Blaster and he is a decent rider. Do you actually believe you can beat a 400EX much less a Banshee, come on, break the Prozac in half next time.

yz i don't believe you because i see you lie on these forums all the time. also i doubt a blaster could beat a prairie 650 and probably not the 660 grizz. i've only had the chance to race a blaster against my friends 400EX. the 400 smoked him everywhere.
