It will not overheat. Mine is bored to 67mm and I don't have any problems. I like to run a full tank through before riding it hard. Let it warm up and rev it a little bit. Then let it cool down completely. Repeat this about three more times and take it out for a spin. Don't go full throttle until you go through at least 1 tank of gas.

People have different ways to break in motors. People around here pretty much do what I said. It shouldn't be over heating too much. You can't really check jetting until you get it broken in. My advice would be richen it a little bit. That would help it break in better and might keep it cooler. What happened that you had to go from .020 to .080?

Dirt 817,
There was a lot of piston slap in the .20 over cyclinder so when i took it in he said 67.50 is how big i would have to go to clean up all the mess. Messed it up real bad. It wasnt that good to begin with I put a new piston in, not a really good hone when it was 20 over so i'm sure that didnt help. but what ever i just ran through two tanks yesterday, so it's broken in but I'm still not gona go wide open 6th gear till I go through one more tank.
Thanks for the info,
Matt
