So you are only financing $3400??? $121 seems high. What's the interest rate?
A total of $7400 seems high. Priced at $6499 where did the dealer come up with another $900?
I think you're taking it in the backdoor.

I would think that the price of a 2001 would be closer to $6800. The dealer needs to "get rid of it" before the 2002 models hit the floor. Everyone has their own story, I paid $6750 1 month ago but $7400 seems pretty high. Check the local competition.

The price of the raptor was $6495 but with sales tax warrenty title and all that crap it comes to 7400 out the door the intrest rate was 12.9. Right now i'm 16 and i have a pretty good job but if i don't buy the raptor i could buy i pretty nice car for 7400 or i was thinking of just buying a cheaper quad like maybe a warrior or a 400ex.

Yes, $7400 is way too much. I had mine on order in June last year, and although I didn't get it until September I paid $6700 out the door. A place by me, Chicago cycle center (not who I bought mine from), is selling 2001's for $5995 + shipping and prep. If you can't find one cheaper than $7400 I would consider buying a used one from someone who bought the extended warranty. You can find a nice used one for between $5500-$6000 w/ extended warranty. Financing isn't that big of a deal going through a bank or credit union, cheaper than Yamaha financing. Obviously if you can pay cash that's the way to go!

Lightning,
12.9% is way too much. I got my quads both at 8.49%. Shop around some & you'll save.
