Blaster Gearing
#1
Im currently running my blaster with a 14t front sprocket and a 44t rear. Im looking to go to either a 40 or 41 tooth rear for more top end. The blaster has no mods and I'm wondering if it will have problems turning a 14-40 combination in top gear, or if it will have some power to spare? I do use it for some deep bush riding and like a powerful first gear, wondering which would be best for me, and how much of a top end difference there would be between a 40 and 41 tooth? current top speed is 35mph and I run 22*11 dirt dogs
thanks

If your blaster only goes 35mph I wouldn't worry about gearing. A stock blaster would have enough power to turn that combo on flat ground, but if you ride in deep brush you might wont to invest in a reed spacer, air box vents, and a reed spacer. I chose to mention these products because they are cheap, easy to install, and would add the power you need.
