Raptor/Pro Flow Miss ?
#1
I recently put a Pro Flow kit on my Raptor. I notice at mid throttle, when I punch it out, there seems to be a little miss. Is this because the pro flow is a little more restrictive than the stocker ? Any one else have the same problem ? Any ideas ? Anyone ?

The larger pro-flo filter should flow more air than the stocker. The outer filter is for very dusty conditions. Also, if you have your air box lid off now, you are definately running lean. Check your plug.
I had no problems with my pro-flo with the lid on.

I have a 2001 Warrior and put the Pro Design Intake system on about 2 weeks ago with no problems. I don't use the third stage outerwear most the time, with it on the filter is pressed up against the lid and the side of the airbox. I don't see how it could flow as much air with the outerwear on and resting on the lid and side of the air box. I would like to know how many people do use the third stage outerwear and if they oil it to.

I think it's the other way around. You're getting too much air. I usually run with the outer wear as well to keep from having to clean the filter itself constantly.
I've had to reject after installing the ProDesign filter at sea level.
