Think about it.

I know of several people who own a Raptor and have not had any
problems.
Yes the Raptor motor dose desend from the XTZ660 Dual-Sport and the
MZ660 Road Bike, would you like to compare their HP to a XR/XL 650.
A Euro rag already put a XTZ against both the XR/XL 650, guess what
it beat them both, on several occasions
The Raptor in most situations almost as good as the 400EX, one
area where it surpasses it( as a far larger than avg rider, I would know)
is when you start using up the Front suspension, the EX dose have some bump
steer, the Raptor dose not.
But overall the 400EX is a better handling Quad.
The Bent front upper A-arms came during a Dirtwheels test.
The 400EX fried a clutch during the 4-Wheel ATV shootout.
A I must wonder how many complaints about the Raptor are legit, they all
cannot be fake but by the same token,
great day

<< Seems to lack a clutch, maybe you need to learn a little more about your own brand before you bash mine anymore.. >>
You said that the 250x didn't have a clutch which is BS
The 250EX doesn't have a clutch
Get your facts strait

Ok, I'm starting to understand it all now.
What the Honda guys are saying is that size doesn't matter. It's not how big your, ummm, quad is but how you use it. I'm sure that all guys with small quads with performance problems say that.

Okay guys enough is enough I am tired of hearing all this crap. Bermbanger give up your not going to win. And who really cares if you do. People are going to ride what they want no matter what anyone on here says. So just ride what you want and have fun on it. And who cares what it is.

You know, arguing like this isn't going to help much. Neither side is going to change their opinions regardless. There are only a couple of FACTS here, the rest are rider skill/prefference related.
It is a fact that a Raptor is faster in a Straight line than a 400ex.
It is a fact that a Raptor is faster in reverse than a 400ex (that one deffinatly can't be argued).
It is a fact that a Raptors MSRP is Higher than the 400ex's.
Now I could go on naming all of the known facts such as color availability, dry weight, wheelbase, yada...yada...yada. That still would not end this debate. When you are talking which one handles better, which one is better on trails, and which one is the better overall quad there is no true answer. As you all can see EVERYBODY HAS THEIR OWN OPINIONS on these things. If the 400ex was the better quad for everybody, EVERYBODY WOULD OWN ONE. If the Raptor was the better quad for everybody, EVERYBODY WOULD OWN ONE. You guys should be praising eachother for having different tastes. Diversity makes things interesting. Personally I wouldn't like it if everybody else owned a quad like mine. The weekly MX races would be boring as hell if everybody ran the same quad. It would be like watching a NASCAR race with all of the Sponsor decals removed.
Just my opinion on this.
