The bike runs fine at wide open throttle but has a slight miss at constant throttle at about half open. This gets worse when in nuetral and I hold the gas open a little. Its not bad enough to be a real problem just a little aggravating. I know it isnt the dynojet kit becuase it ran fine after it was installed for about two months. Could a clogged jet cause this?

after your bike breaks in you have to readjust the float level or it will run a little funny. Also you may need to adjust your valves. The only other thing i can think of is try changing the spark plug.

Thanks for the info. I had the dealer adjust the valves after the first 30 hours. I had to replace the plug once so I will check the gap on it. I don't really think that it would be the float level though because it runs fine when accelerating or riding normally so I don't think its starving for fuel. It only misses when at a constant rpm.

With the jet kit and probably modified airbox/filter, I'm not sure what to advice but to me it sounds like its too lean at mid range. Try turning out the mixture screws a little (up to 1 turn out). You may need to raise the jet needles a bit to richen mid range.

When its hesitating, what happens if you apply the choke a little?
