My friends blaster keeps going though spark plugs. When we look at them they are full of oil, and the end of the pipe is full of oil. My yamaha dealer said tap the carb the float might be sticking? I know it is running rich.
What do you think guys?

Check the oil type and mixing ratio. The oil pump could be messed up or he is useing some really cheap oil...

If you Blaster is stock, it has a 230 main jet in it.

The fix is very simple. If the plug is excessively wet or gets fouled alot, go down one jet size to a 220 main.

If you need step by step instructions how to do this, e-mail me and I will send them to you. Or, e-mail me and I will give you my home telephone number. I will then walk you through it as you do it. Re-jetting a Blater takes less than 15 minutes. Anyone with a small socket set and phillips screwdriver can do it!
