Today I make this pledge..

Not to let another Honda owner bother me with his stupid minded comments about how is beloved red or yellow honda is so much better than my yamaha...

I pledge not to argue anymore with someone who's engine is only %60 as large as mine...

I take this pledge not to respond or even acknowledge that a honda owner is in our forum if he shows hostility..

I pledge to make this Yamaha Forum the best it can be, to answer all questions as best I can, and to not picker with my fellow atvers..

It sounds like you are being frusterated by the manorities too! We have them in the honda forum too, do you mind if I use your post in the honda forum (slightly revised to fit the brand)? Lets all get along!

Everyone is so brand loyal these days we don't keep an open mind. Most of the time you see posts that get replies like "well if it was a (insterd brand) then you wouldn't have this problem." or "get this they are better that that". If you are a good rider you can make do with what you got.

I think bansheebrad may be the leader of a revolution(or a raving alcoholic j/k). This "brand war" does get out of hand every so often. I've tried my hardest to stay out of these arguements or even break them up. Some people can't get it threw their heads that every person on this forum is happy(or once was)with what they ride.
If any one of these machine was superior to anything else, then they would only sell that machine. All of the inferior brands would go bankrupt because they are simply not as good.

I whole heartidly take that oath. I hope others do as well.

Peace

I have 3 Harleys, 4 Yamahas, and 1 Suzuki. If you consider it, these are all tools to do a certain job. You would not use a screwdriver to cut a piece of wood. Therefore I do not use my Harley to trail ride, or my Warrior to go on the highway for a 500 mile ride with the boys. Brands are brands but each one has their little differences as much as we try to match them up. At least I have enough of tools.........

Lets all ride together. If we race and I lose, maybe its the rider or maybe its the machine. Lets just go find some trails and keep them open for future riders!!!!!
