lol! yeah.. good example.. BUT, I got screwed on the banshee, it was already blown up, they just slapped it together to sell it Besides the banshee (which was a HORRIBLE experience and wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy) I've had GREAT luck with 2strokes.. If you buy a new banshee you shouldnt have many problems, if any. What about the new cannondales??! I havent heard many complaints and they sure look nice.. Hey man, thats not "2strokes" Thats how a 2stroke runs when out of tune! I can go a year on the same plug.If your plug is getting wet in the woods, you are either jetted too rich, or (especially with a Qracer) running the wrong plug, or mix ratio.Mix a can of gas before you go riding, its not a problem. While your buddies are filling their bikes you pour your gas in to.2strokes arent hard to tune and when they do break, they are EXCEPTIONALLY easy to work on.I'd be glad to help you tune your bike, if you want my help let me know.I'm no rocket scientist and I have my bike running crisp all the time.

I was going to pile it on, but its Friday. Never mind.. Oh forget that!! The kicksarter on the banshee is so easy, youd think you were starting a weed eater.. no problem sitting down, giving it a half kick and and your on your way, dusting those "awesome" four strokes

I have a 99´Banshee and I have had no problems at all with it. It is a great machine. Besides, the few times that it was out of shape in the tunning department, was a natural and easy thing to solve, but as I were unfamiliarized with 2 strokes, It took me a little more to figured it out.
The four strokes, are great to, but If you like speed, then you better get a 2 stroke.
But, after reading your posts, I must say that you must buy, at most, an ATC110 threewheeler.

The only reason people have constant problems with 2 strokes is because they don't know what they are doing. They only have a few moving parts and very little to go wrong. Tuning can be a pain and take some practice but that's not a reliability issue. The kickstarter is too hard??? Please, the Banshee is easier to kick than a Blaster; if you can't kick a Banshee you probably have some sort of physical handicap; any 6 your old kid could do it. Spark plugs? I change my plugs one per year or so just because I feel guilty if I don't spend the few bucks to do it once in a while. Rebuilds? Ok, sure if you run it lean and mix your oil at 100:1 you may have problems. My 2 year old Banshee compression is still at stock spec after 2 years of duning(95/95 PSI at 7000 feet). Premix? Well if you can't dump 4 ounces of oil in 1 gallon of gas you should probably staying from making lemonade or mixed drinks. How many times do you ride a quad up to the local gas station for a fill-up??? Doesn't run right in the cold??? WTF??? I guess that those 2 stroke snowmobiles can only be used in the summer then.

There is nothing on the Banshee that is likely to break; buy one and whoop all over your 400EX riding friends or don't, just stop believing the ignorant excuses for not doing it.

WyoDuner is exactly right! The Banshee is the easiest quad to kick off.. Come on man, the one you rode must have some serious compression if it left bruises on your feet.. My sole's out of my Nike Air's, and I flooded it one day.. Still no bruises. Or maybe you have sensitive feet.. Or is it feelings? While your buddies are bull sh!tting by their 4strokes, pull out the oil, pour some in your Ratio-Rite, dump it in the can, fill your can up, and go! It takes AT MOST 2 minutes to get the mixture, and fill up with gas. If you maintain your banshee, it will treat you right.. if you abuse it, you will hate it. I slipped on mine for a little while.. and now am paying for it(bearings etc). Mine's a 97 model.. still on the stock bore! If you want arm ripping power, and scary fast acceleration, get a Banshee. If you want something to play around in the yard on.. Get a 400EX

The things I was taliking about were about my quadracer..... I have had the WORST luck with this quad you wouldnt beleive..... And when I bought it my cousin bought a worrior in the same condition and he has only done maintenancestuuf on it... no repairs.... To tell you how much I hate this quad... mu dad has a bayou 220 and I will borrow it instead of ridig my quad..... EVERY SINGLE time I take my quad for a ride: I WILL WALK HOME !!!! no joke. My dads bayou is practicly mine cuz I'm the only one who rides it... I have been riding/trashing that quad for 6 years now and the only thing that I had to get fixed on it is the rack that had to be rewelded a couple times and I broke the shifter in the woods once(log)... I know a bayou is not a performance machine but it has been great to me and this is one of the reason why I want a 4 stroke(400ex)

If you take car of your Qracer, like you take care of your Bayou, yeah.. you need a 400EX.. Hey i can't blame you.. I have stuff i'd rather do that maintence.. but, you get what you pay for.. if you maintain your quad, you will love it. If you maintain a Banshee, you'll NEVER have any problems with it... if you don't.. it'll be just like your Qracer, only with new problems instead of 12 year old problems

I have a old 90 banshee. It was on the stock topend and bottom end for 10 years. Before I got it. The original owner took very good care of it. I rode it a year and tore it all down. I added A-arms, shocks, new paint , plastic, and a awesome Ohton racing built 370 long rod that will rip your arms off. No problems whatsoever. 2 strokes are more finicky on there jetting than a 4 stroke. And c'mon bruised foot, mine starts first kick evry time and I am running 168psi comp. you want a bruised foot try kicking a yz 426 at the wrong cycle, ouch!!! I live and I'll die with a 2 smoke in my garage.
