I have been fortunate enough not to have wrecked bad but how about you all. Have you ever cased it on a huge double or wrecked like that pro rider in Dirtwheels who shattered both his heels on a jump?
Tell us some of your wrecks.

my worst,
and only wreck:
i was going up a very steep hill on my friends bayou 220,
i went up in 2nd gear, i wasnt thinking, and i was sitting on the back, the quad quickly slowed down and i reacted by hitting the brake, smacking down into first and i hit the throttle, quad came up like a pro wheelie'r
as i was falling down the hill, and rolling, i saw the quad doing backfips after me getting closer and closer,
i was ready to die, and i was expecting a handlebar in the ribs,
but lucky enough when i got to the bottom my adreniline numbed the pain and i scrambled out of the way,
the qua landed on its wheels, no damage,
i was bruised and cut up with lots of pain,
i wish i wore pants and a long sleve shirt that day,
now on my scrambler, even though i know i could make it up, i dont go, i only go down it now

that had to hurt man. I'll tell you what would hurt too: hitting a jump and landing w/the quad almost vertical front wheels first (you looking face down), falling off fowards and the quad lands on you. It's a nightmare going up long steep hills and not making it all the way. My brother did that at a place called cliffview and he stopped completely to downshift, that's scary. I've heard of others who back there way down 100 ft. high hills. Can't back down on a dirtbike very easy ha ha.

thats exactly what happened to me.
hill was probably 50-75 feet long,
it did hurt,
i had cuts everywhere,
but it didnt hurt as much as when me and my friends built a wooden tabletop jump for our mountain bikes,
we kept making it bigger and bigger,
and i, who never liked bike jumps, kept hitting it harder and harder, my bike has front and reas shocks,
and the landings where nice,
i got more confident (you know how that goes)
and i slammed the jump,
i hit it god, but came down at an angle where my front tire hit first, and completly compressed the front shock, the bike fliped, and i went slidering face first through BIG gravel,as a reaction i coverd my face with my arms, i had no helment, lukily i didnt hit my head, my arms where gashed up, my chest was to, and my stomach had cuts all over it,
i ahd to pull some rocks out of my skin
,
that hurt!
ive had lots of other close calls,
but ive never broken a bone

That's because on a dirt bike if u dont make it, u tip it over and not roll down the hill. Than u pick it up and point it down the hill. Now, why do ATV's like to tumble end over end all the way down and waste all your money?

My worst?? hmm. I guess when i was play racing with a friend on my Banshee.. he was ahead of me on a 300EX.. we went around a sharp left hander, down a rutted straight. Right before I made the turn, my left grip started sliding down the bars.. Well, I grabbed it, only to have it come off in my hand. About that time, i hit a huge rut, jerked the bars with the only hand I had on them.. Pulled it hard right, off the track. Just off the track, there was a pretty much straight up and down wall of dirt.. I hit it, the Banshee flipped completely in the air.. I hit the wall, bounced off, and hit the dirt.. then the Banshee came down on top of me.. Renthals in the back. Two cracked vertebrae.. Lots of sore muscles.

Closest call to a bad wreck? I didn't quite make a double all the way, Back end came over the front.. I got a good luck at my AC front bumper.. Luckily, my knee hit the throttle, and kicked the Banshee back under me.. But, then i hit the whoops.. crotch to the gas tank.. head to the bars.. I got over it in 15 minutes.

Funnest(is that a word?) wreck? Ran Polaris 300 up a telephone pole brace wire thingy ma jigger.. flipped on its side.. i balanced it for about 30 seconds though.. too scared to let off the brakes to go back down

Nothing major..

My worst wreck would have had to been on my ole quadsport on my moto x track. It was really muddy and I was doing about 40 down a straight and I was making a 90 degree curve with a berm. It started sliding good then the rear wheels hit a really loose spot and let go. I backed it into the berm. I jumped off, but the quad kept going. It rolled 4 times from end to end and side to side. It actually broke the handlebars, bent the steering stem a little, moved one a arm back 1/4 inch, pushed the bumper in, knocked the grab bar down a little, and bent the spindle so as one tire had negative camber. I went and flipped it back over and it started on the first kick. It never drove straight or handled the curves right again so I traded it. The plastic was perfect though.
