I am looking to buy a pipe pretty soon and am trying to decide between a Big Gun or a White Bros E Series. A Pro Circuit T4 might work too. Which one of these three pipes makes the most difference in low end and mid-range power. I ride in the woods a lot and race a few harescrambles so I don't really need top end, just low and mid. I heard the E Series is really loud, can anyone compare it with a Big Gun or T4? I have heard the T4 but not the other two, so I have nothing to compare it to. It sounded pretty good to me though. Any info would be appreciated. Thanx.

I have the Big Gun and have heard both the WB and T4, The Big Gun is loudest by far. I really noticed a big gain in low and mid with a little on top. The look and finish is GREAT!

With the E-Series you can tune the quad with disks that you add to it or take them away. I don't know if you can do this with the Big Gun or T-4. The less disks you run in the E-Series the more bottom end and mid range torque you get. Also the less disks you run the quieter it is. The more disks you run the louder it is. It also provides the most horsepower of all 3 silencers you mentioned. One problem though is the E-Series is on backorder until 2nd week of August though Rocky Mountain, Dennis Kirk and Chapparal. I'm still waiting for my E-Series to show up. Can't wait!

The E-Series is tunable, which is good, because it gets pretty loud. The main thing I don't care for is the discolored grab bar and plastic. Yhis can be solved by ordering special discs from WB to help direct the flow. For additional torque you can also grab a WB torque stuffer which goes in the head pipe to improve low end, and/or put a "quiet core insert" into the E-Series muffler body to cut the noise and firm up the low end.
