wow die hard that must really suck! i might be gettin a 2002 raptor any day now and i hope mine doesn't have any of those problems.

I too have had so many problems that i just sold mine. Estimated repairs on mine were around $2500 and that doesnt include the stuff that was included in the warranty. If i was you i would by an R a banshee or a 400ex and you will be much happier. Or maybe even an LT500. I might be picking one of them up soon. They got almost as much torque as a Rptor i couldnt believe it when i rode one. any way hope you get your problems taken care of but if your is like mine start watching for other things to go wrong.

 

when i get my raptor i'm lookin for people to trade for a 250r thats been my plan for a while. i NEEEEED a 250r.

Are you sure you rode an LT500?

Whatever the case it sounds like you made the right move getting rid of problems. My 500 has its share of problems too. No denying that.

Yes as of today i have rode 2 500's the torque and power almost feel identical. Thats no bull. Yes i know every quad is going to have its probs but what i went thru with my raptor was rediculous.
