All riding boots have to be broke in. Wear them every chance you get. weather its mowing the yard or changing the oil on you quad. They'll fit to your feet and movements. It takes some getting used to shifting and braking. Some people move there shifters up a notch. I haven't. Once there broke in you wonder how you ever rode without them.

Until they are broken in loosen the 2 top buckles a little. This will allow your calf to move inside the boot. Should make shifting a little easier. Wearing them as much as possible is good to help break them in though. Keep the buckles tight for doing that.

Just wear them like a pair of boots!! When you go to check the mail.. or do anything outside, put them on instead of shoes.. You will find that they break in much faster when you wear, and ride in them

Yeah, you have to break them in. I have a pair of AlpineStars, and when I first bought them I wore them around the house for over a week! I always had those things on - made for some interesting visuals, let me tell you! They softened up pretty quick, though, and of course as soon as you start riding in them, they soften up even more. I feel naked riding without my boots, now.

My husband, on the other hand, had me take his AlpineStars back - he didn't like them - says he couldn't shift in them.....so I bought him a cheapie pair of O'Neals that were just leather, and that's what he rides with. They are falling apart, but when he ruins those we'll just get new ones, I guess!

Wearing a pair of pajamas...slip them boots on and go out to your front yard. Pump up some obnoxious music and begin doing exercises. Continue until your neighbors call the local authorities. Upon their arrival...RUN LIKE HELL!!

They'll be broken in by the week end.
