Just rode a 2002 Grizzly and I have a few questions and comments
#1
My father in law just bought a 2002 Grizz and I just went and rode it for the first time. This was the first time I've seen one in person and my first impression was, "Man, that things big." I rode it and doesn't feel all that big. It seems to have great power and the ride was plush.
One thing I noticed that I didn't really like was the floorboards seem "cheap", they actually flex while standing on them. There seems to be quite a bit of noise and heat from the engine and belt housing, but nothing to be too concerned about I suppose. Has anyone else noticed the heat the 660 Grizzly puts out onto the riders legs?
For the most part, the Grizz looks like a rock solid performer. I like the locking front end and the IRS rode like a Cadillac. I think I'll wait a while and see what develops and then maybe I'll get serious about a new quad. There are so many good machines on the market that it won't be an easy decision.
