I heard that these are just now becoming available. Does anyone have a '02 Raptor yet, and if so please give us a ride review and let us know what the differences are with transmission gearing and suspension etc.

Well the 2002 is not out till sept. But it has etter gearing and better suspension.

I saw the new 02 Raptor last week. It was on display at Lorretta's.

It has a wider stance in the back and the axle looks beefier. The back shock is bigger and is a piggy back. Look identical to my YZ shock. The linkage is not the same either. The relay arm is a different design. I sold my Raptor so I'm just going on memory.

I could go out and buy one NOW if I chose to. With that in mind, has anybody ALREADY got one....and can give us some first hand knowledge on the differences?

The mechanic I spoke with last month said there is no changes in the transmission or gear spacing.
