I have a 98 wolverine with a fmf performax pipe and k&n filter\jet kit.Does anybody know
of other mods I can make without flattening my wallet????

you shouldd read the warrior performanc post here, because the warrior and wolverine have basicly the sam engine.

Try taking off your air box cover and see if this helps, if so you can add another air intake and jet up one size,more air+more gas=more power.You can also install a torque stuffer to gain alittle bottom end.

Harold, can a torque stuffer be used in conjuntion with a stock pipe? How do they cost?

I have a torque stuffer,forgot to mention that.I was thinking of drilling some holes in the air box top,so you helped me make up my mind thanks Harold.

Yes, a torque stuffer can be used with a stock pipe it installs in the head pipe where bolts to the head, cost is $38.00.

hey dowmb4 you mightnot want to drill holes in your airbox lid depending apon where you ride, holes let in mud,dirt and water etc., a better solution would be to install another air intake beside your stock one,do a search under my name and you should see these mods.,if this new software allows a database.

yeah,I see your point about the mud and water
but I was thinking of putting some kind of thin foam pad on the under side of the lid to filter out the dirt as for the water I try
to stay out the deep stuff.Maybe I could put a bigger hole and run some type of breather hose.What do you think of that??
