A guy that lives near my parents house has an old 200sx, and he can ride wheelies like mad on that thing. It's not fair, he can leave it right in 2nd gear and "blip" the throttle. He can ride about as far on that as I can ride on my Polaris, and that's quite a long ways. Actually he get's more "hang time" cause I get from point a to point b faster. I never thought I'd envy a 200sx in any way....lol

I'm sure a banshee could rip a wheelie in 6th gear... I just think it would have to be a pretty tricked out banshee.

On the other hand, I've stood my raptor straight up in 5th gear (Raptor only has 5 forward gears). I'll have to see if I can borrow my friend's video camera. If I can I'll post it on the net somewhere. I will admit that you do need a bump or a slight incline to do this though.

Well, I tried it. The first time that I tried it I got all of first and all of 2nd gear. I kept doing it and the best I did was go all through first, second, third, and when I shifted to fourth it fell down. Man, what a thrill. Too bad I fell off the back twice within 10 minutes though...hehe. I was scared as hell the first time because my rear grab bar is bent way up, and I thought I was going to go all the way over. Luckily it didn't, but the quad did stay straight up in the air both times, and didn't fall down on it's own. Both times I fell off was at the top of second gear. Thanks for the info guys. I've deffinatly gotta practice more though.

PS. You can see a few pics (of the wheelies) at my website www.vermont4wheeling.homestead.com. Click on Pictures (on the right) and go to "Josh's 1998 Yamaha Banshee".
