Should you purchase the extended warranty or not. The salesman is pushing the warranty hard saying that the Grizzly is a new machine with a lots of electronics. I don't ride that hard and the warranty would cost about $600. Most repairs have a way of being your falt! Thanks

 

You get six months to decide. I will not get one unless something happens within 6 months (yamaha has six month warranty). If I do get one it will be 1 year I think costing $300 some odd dollars. Don't let your dealer scare you. They will say anything to get money out of you.

 

i bought the new griz and did buy the extended warranty 3 yrs for 360.00

I would definately get the extended warranty because it is a first year vehicle. I got the extended warranty on my 650 for that reason.

 

Tell your dealer you will decide in the next 6 months, and other people are getting a 3 year for $360. Have him call you when he can sell it for $360. Don't be suprised when he calls you and meets your price. Those warranty deals are all profit for the dealer, so don't overpay.

 

I bought an extended warrantee on both my Raptor and Grizzly. I told the dealer I would buy the bikes if he sold me the warrantees at cost. I paid $199 each for them.
