my week at silver lake on RAPTOR

the lake was great but i had to rejet my carbs 3 times before i got
it to run good with my pro-design kn. i raced alot of other quads
the DS was NO CHALLANGE in any form. the stock banshee easy. the 440 ex
could only hang until 3rd gear then i was gone. only a modified banshe was
equal. only the heavily modified banshee could beat the raptor. not braggen just
teelin the facts iam an old banshee owner so i know the 2 stroke potential.
as for next year silver lake WILL enforce the 94 decibal law
so all you piped people will have to ride else where or put a quite core in. in.

wow v-max you must be the best rider ever if you can beat a ds ....the ds flat out spanks a raptor in stock form !!! and if you dont beleave it you can travel to mn and ill race you with my ds !! 3 races 1/4 mile ....if you got any hart put your quad up for the trophy!! and ill put mine up ......then you can come back on this fourm and brag all you want....

why would i drive to race you when i just raced 2 DS on the dunes. i beat them
thats all the proof i need. if your still not happy get out one of your old
dirtwheels issues when they did there shoot out and the ds sucked there too.
and no i am not the best rider,just average!
as for the hour/tach i paid 40 bucks yeah i like it. it helps me keep track of
my oil changes and yes i also like the 12 tooth much better!!!

for one you could drive hear to pick up your new ds if your so sure you can win!! and for second every one knows when the the big jap companys introduce there new product the mags lie for them because they spend tons of dough in advertizing .....hmmmm go figure....shhhh be very very quiet ...............here craptor craptor craptor ...........

I was thinking kinda what you were.... Maybe they sell faster Raptors in Indiana or something, because they aren't faster than DS's in Ohio. As far as believeing anything in dirtwheels you'd have to be a fool. I think that was the same magazine that picked a Honda 300EX over a Scrambler 400 2WD. I mean come on.
The fact is biggy is right with the mags, it's all about the money. There really isn 't that many quads made. Yamaha advertises the hell out of the Raptor & you can't bite the hand that feeds you.
I wouldn't worry about racing him Biggy. Things like out of state offers to meet never happen. Just have piece of mind that you have the best 600cc+ quad made[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Your "stupid" race bet is the only reason Koenig exists...I always think about this everytime I read about loser loses its machine...hehe (in arab emirates...etc, they race cars and the loser loses his car -> they come up with 1000+hp cars)[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
