pipe, a-arms, wider axle, shocks. That's about it. Depending on the type of riding you are gonna do will determine where you start your mods. I went with the pipe first, then wider axle and a-arms, then shocks.

I would run a LRD or a Curtis Sparks pipe (www.sparksracing.com), they both make a pipe/silencer combo that work excellent. For other mods I would change to a UNI or K&N filter, Dynojet kit to flow more fuel, rip the baffles out of the air intake tube and advance the timing. This will give you quite a bit more power. If you havn't done it already, drop a tooth on the front sprocket, it will slow the bike down for top speed, but will rev quicker. Not to many place do you really need 70 mph.......

The next step you could get into is a higher compression piston with a bigger cam, just don't do one without the other, they need to work together to make proper HP.

We also found when you turn the Raptor, the front outside corner (turning left it would be your right front) likes to nose dive, in turn you have to run the shocks on mid-full stiffness to help this, a set of WORKS shocks ($300) would help this.

If you are running the stock tires, for the dirt, switch to Holeshots or Pure Sports "Bandits" (23" front - 22" rear), you will have better traction, and the front will steer alot more positive, instead feeling like it's "pushing" or sliding. And for the sand, Skat-trak Mohawks (21x7x10) for the front and Skat-trak 8-paddle edges (20x10x10) for the rear.

If you really want to make it fast pull that head off, put a quadzilla head on and add reed induction, HAHAHA. But then again the transmision can't hold up to the power it produces now, never mind 2 stroke 660 power. All kidding aside I have raced 2 Raptors on this 1/2 mile abandoned road, and the stock one did better than the one with the Pro Circuit T4 exhaust, so I wouldn't suggest the T4

From what I have seen, the prefered pipes seem to be the Curtis Sparks and the BigGun. I run the HMF pipe and love it. Definately get a Lonstar +4 axle and invert your rear shock linkage for stability.

Check out b l u t r a x x . c o m for the rear linkage procedure and tons of posts about the different pipes.
