Do these tires work well in the snow and other low traction situations? If not, what did you get to replace them and how do they work compared to the stockers? My 650 has these stock and I need to know how well they work in snow and low traction situations, and if I should replace them what should I get. Thanks.

They really suck. They wear fast and are prone to flats. I replaced mine with Dirt Devils 1 month after buying my Kodiak and so far I love the Dirt Devils. I have 6 ply reliability and great all purpose traction. Mud Bugs and such were not an option for me because I ride on mud and hardpack. The mud tires are just way too rough for any amount of hard surface driving. I found that for "ME" the Dirt Devils were perfect all purpose tire. I've also heard good things about the Bear Claws.

To each his own, I like them for factory tires. Rock climbing ability is superb for a factory tire. Mud, better than most factory setups, including the maxxis mavericks on the big bear, but no comparison with a mud tire. I ran 26" vampires on my last quad, these things are as good traction wise up in the moutains on nasty rock riddled trails. Hard pack riding is excellent. They do break loose easily with the kodiak in 2wd, when you nail it. I was going to get a set of mud bugs, but after I went on a few rides, decided to ride them untli they wear out. I bought plugs and everything, no holes yet. I will say they are better than any factory mounted tire I have seen, but will never hold a candle to a quality after market tire in any field.
