Did this take anything away from the bike? Such as reliability, ridability in trails, etc.? Or did it just make it a lot faster. I would like to get another 10HP or so out of mine. Should have near 50HP now. See sig. for mods. I would like to get 60+HP out of it. I know that I would have to run race fuel with a 12:1 piston. Can the stock carbs with the right jetting feed this setup? I like the sound of the CT Racing power package. CT is offering a High Output motor package. Here's the info. off their web page.

The kit consists of porting your head, cleaning head and lapping valves, Honing cylinder and fitting piston, high performance cam, top end gasket set, Jet set including CT titanium needles. We used this exact combination to win the Score San Felipe 250 and the Best in the Desert Tonopah 300. This kit adds power from bottom to top, no trade off.

$795.00

CT Racing 12:1 piston kit $200.95

CT high performance cam $165.00 + $165.00 core charge.

Has anyone ran this kit? I trust CT Racing because of the pipe kit I'm running is everything they claimed it was. Hopefully the power package does the same. Would the extra stuff be worth over $400? I could just buy the cam, and piston, and some gaskets. I do want to have a matched setup though. I have learned with building fast cars that everything needs to work together.

Thanks,
Dan

i have installed the ct piston and cam, ported the head myself and am using the big gun race exhaust, also put in a sparks key.the piston is a ross 11.7-1 got that info from ross.i have not got the jetting dialed in perfect yet but there is a big diff in power from the bottem end all the way up.it will tear up a stock raptor.ive been running 92 pump gas with 104 booster and iseems to be ok.i did read that the trinity 680 kit witch uses about the same comp and i think the same cam will run fine on 92 octane,i didnt ask ct what they recomnded.
