Thanks for your replies!

I couldn't resist, I ended up getting a '00 grizzly; it was the last the dealer had for now. I also added the 69$ winch. I can't wait to take delivery, and then head into the woods!!!!

How or where did you find such
great (low) prices. Dealers in
Idaho want $6500 for either
the Polaris or the Grizz.

Congradulations, b-jens!

On both, the purchase of a new ATV, and for
choosing a Grizzly .

Give the beast about 800+ miles before she
starts to shine, then as my eariler post
stated she really picks up(both speed and
fuel economy).

The 98 is the one with the Heat problem near
the motor, but as I always wear long pants
and good boots, it's not all that noticeable
(dose help on cold days though, only if a little).

WELCOME to the SILVERTIP FRATERNITY
Good LUCK
GREAT DAY

Well, I got the beastie home last night, what fun!! I drove it home in my buddy's cargo van, it fit perfectly.

The dealer here is charging 5895 (including freight and prep) for their 2000 grizzlies. Question I have is, however, is the grizzly supposed to come with a hitch? One dealer I spoke with said that Yamaha is giving those out as promos. However, mine did not have a hitch on it....a most necessary item in my book. Today when I get home, I'm going to make tracks in the yard Ha ha.

You know, now I'm going to have to *mark* my territory to keep the other grizzlies out....

I own a 2000 Grizzly with about 700 miles on it and I love it, I've flipped it't side once and just flipped it back with no damage or other problems. It's a great ATV and it takes all my abuse.
