My friend may sell his warrior for $1500 is there anything i sould look out for on the quad or sould i take his word

You didn't supply any info for anyone to offer suggestions. How old is the machine?
What type of riding does your friend do?
Is it bone stock or modified? What is the general obvious appearance of the quad?How good a friend is he?
Unless your friend carries a Bible and wears a collar turned around backwards I wouldn't take his word on anything beyond the day of the week, even the model year without proof. If he's really a friend he'd understand your reluctance.
Expand your post to include answers to the above questions...some one will be happy to give you constructive ideas.
