How can you make Banshee and Honda250R rims interchangable?

I heard that you could make the bolt holes in the rims longer to fit either quad...it was in dirtwheels magazine, but I can't find the issue that it was in. Please help me on this one.....

You can have two bolt patterns on the same wheel. Just rotate the patterns 45 dgreess from each other. You can add a new pattern to a wheel by removing the studs from a hub with the desired pattern and lay it in the wheel. Take care to center it and rotate the spacing. Mark the center of the holes and drill to your stud size. Wha-La one set of wheels for two bikes.

I read that article in dirtwheels. But I wouldn't want to hack on my wheels.
