Call Paul at Big Gun 1-800-870-4461. The quiet series is the same silencer as the race series. The only diffrence is the insert, if you have the race series then all you have to do is order the quite series insert. I believe Paul said with the quiet insert you lose around 1 hp. As far as sound level I'm not sure but give them a call and they can tell you for sure.

I started with the race series muffler, and run it at the dunes. I then bought the quiet series insert and installed to ride local trails.
BIG difference in power and loudness in my opinion! It is a little louder than stock, but it really slowed down the rpm gain. It does not seem to rev as fast with it in. I did have my bike run on a dyno,.. with the BG, dynojet, & proflow it peaked at 41 HP. Unfortunatly the guy I know sold the dyno, so I will not be able to run it with the quiet series insert.
Oh yea,.. I bought it directly from BG as the other post suggested.
Paul from BG suggested I could remove the end cap, but leave the fins in the core, for a little more sound & power. For now I am leaving it alone to keep the db's down when I need. It is really easy to swap in and out. Four screws off, pull the end cap off, and slide the cylinder in/out.
Hope this helps...
