I am looking at a Banshee listed for 5k. 1997 with works triple rates w/out res,lone star+2 a-arms,dura blue axl+2,swing arm -2? I don't understand that?alum nerfs,bumpers, dyno port pipe, 2 into 1 carb set up 38mm carb? cool head,ported,polished, 420 bore size. quad was used as a practice ride for racing season. ridden very little the last year and a half. If the quad is in good shape is that a deal?

Sounds like a sweet deal!! My only concern is its status as a practice bike. This may mean that it has been ridden VERY hard and thats the reason racers need new equipment every year, they break it! I would for sure check it out and see for yourself. For $5000 i KNOW i would!

Oh yea, the +2 on the A-arms could be 2 things. 2 inches wideer or 2 inches more on the wheelbase. The rear axle is +2 inches wider(which leads me to believe the A-arms are of the 2 inch wider variety) and the -2 on the swingarm means the swingarm has been shortened by 2 inches. All of this is for handling purposes.
They are all ok, except for the -2 on the swingarm. For normal riding, this may not be very functional.

Well I really think I found a good deal, It is mine now and I will be learning the 2 stroke way soon. Boy is this thing fast.
