I am going to save up all my money for the rest of the year and I am probably going to get a 4X4 with it. I am only 14 so I will probably only have about $1000 to work with. Alls I want to do is plow snow and go through mud water and snow. speed means NOTHING to me. What should I get I am open to any brand of 4X4, as long as it's got enough power to spin mud tires. WHAT SHOULD I GET ????

Killer-I would say just about any 4x4 with a 400cc engine or higher should work fine for you. Take a look at the Honda Foreman 450 or if you want an auto transmission maybe a Yamaha Kodiak. A nice thing with both of these machines is that they both have in/out 4wd for the 2001 models. Good luck.

If I were you you I would Sell That 250R. And say you sold that for 2,500 and add that 1,000 and you have $3,500.00 that will buy a Decent Machine. And For "Spinning Mud tires" I dont think so. I can Do do Doughnuts with Spyder Track Tires on my lt 250. It Can Just barrely Get the Wheels Spinning I Dont Think a 4x4 will.

Hope that Helps.

Sorry there Killer, I stupidly assumed you were using the $1000 for a downpayment. To my knowledge there are no 4x4 atvs that cost 10,000 new from the shop? If all you got is $1000 total to spend, well....good luck.

I totally agree with these guys.IF and WHEN you find a 4x4 ATV for a grand, its going to more than likly be a POS.You say you allready found about 20 of them around a grand? Please tell us of all your differant choices?Any 4x4 for a grand is going to be more problems than its worth, unless you get REAL LUCKY?No chance in hell of getting lucky with 20 of them. You were'nt dreaming this were you?
