4wd or 2wd?

I don't really think that either is better than the other. We NEED both. Do you think I would take the hot 400EX mudding? Nope. Would we try to powerslide a Grizzly? Not unless we are suicidal! It all depends on what you want to do with the machine. You don't buy a Corvette if you have three kids and that would be your ONLY car. I like 4x4s in the rough and wet, but if it's a fire road give me a sport quad. The Yamaha Wolverine is a good compromise, but unfortunately it has an archaic motor. Debates like these will forever exist. :~)

I've always wanted a 4-wheel drive. Now that I got one, I love it! But the thing is that, now that I have 4-wheel drive, I can't do what I did on the 2 wheel drives. It sucks watching your friends do mad doughnuts in front of you, when your just sitting there, railing through them instead of sliding. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't give up my Big Bear any day. But I also need a 2 wheel drive to have fun on. I also thinks it's fun when we have a couple of our buddies around so we can try to go through some mad mud that we know we have no chance going through and getting stuck. It's just fun once in a while to get stuck and have to get off and push on a warm spring day. Having contests wuth your friends trying to see who can go farther through that nasty mud whole where ya get 2 feet into and sink.
