Has anyone had a chance to check the top speed of their 2000 Kodiak? Thanks.

The top speed is 55 MPH, that should be fast enough to do a lot of diffrent ridding. If you need more speed the by the time you break it in then there will probably be upgrades for the machine, as for me it will stay stock.

Mine is totally broken in, I put a K&N air filter in it. It'll do between 55-57 MPH on a hard, flat surface.

I would have to say about 50-52, once broken in.

No It will NOT beat a Grizzly to 35M.P.H.!
Off the line(Right off no more than 20')
it will start stronger then a 98 Grizz(only
model I've ran it Against) because of what
appears to be a superior engagement of the
Clutch.

Good day
