What are the best front shocks for a raptor "BIGJUMPS"
#21
I too am looking for a pair of front shocks and have found this thread very informative. After reading
I am willing to bet that a 265 pound object hits the ground at the same speed as a 200 pound object. This is because gravity is a constant
I felt compelled to whip out my old engineering formula and point out that Force = Mass * Acceleration. Although the above statement is true (because acceleration is a constant), the force that is created upon landing is vastly different between 210lb and 265lb because there is a difference of 55lb in mass.
Enough for now. Good luck with your shocks and pls keep us posted.

Right, and there are lots of other formulae that are used. Fluid dynamics also plays a large role. The bottom line, in my humble opinion, is to have the experts build your shocks. I know that the shocks I have work extremely well, and I know that they are superior to the non- triple rate shocks in every way.
