I own a y2k blaster and have riden it quite hard.The a-arms have alot of play in them and need to have the bearing/bushings replaced I've seen in some magazines that they sell for about six bucks a piece,I've also seen an a-arm rebuild kit in the Dennis Kirk catalogue that sells for forty bucks for the upper and forty bucks for the lower.Well I was at the local hardware store and noticed that they had a brass bushing that looks just like the ones in the magzines but they were only like three bucks.Iwas wondering if anyone knew if these brass bushings were like nuts and bolts that have specific size and patterns and codes and that I could just cross reference them and get the ones at the hardware store and save myself some time and money. any help would be great.
